Father-daughter date
Yesterday, my hubby and daughter went out for a “date” to the movie. My sis and her hubby went togther with them to watch ‘The Enchanted’. Poor me…..left at home under confinement with baby…Oh well…It’s good for my daughter to go out and enjoy some time alone with her papa.
When they came home, hubby quickly narrated what happened after the movie. They went to JJ to buy lights for my X-mas tree. Don’t know what is wrong with these light bulbs for X-mas trees. They just don’t last…well, at least for 2 years the most. I have been changing the lights for 3 times now and my X-mas tree is only 5 years old.
Anyway, sometimes, in JJ, they have these “specially made wholesome” bread by the Japanese which is sold at RM18 per loaf. Yes, most expensive bread ever but taste really good, I must say. So, the little girl went to try some samples, as if she has never eaten before ** Chuckle**
Then, hubby asked her to moved on coz they need to get home. But before that, he asked her if the bread is delicious. Of course any sane person would say yes.
XR casually asked her papa again, “Can you buy for me the bread?”.
Hubby informed her, “The bread is very expensive. I don’t think I would want to buy it.”
XR asked, “How much does the bread cost?”
Hubby replied, “RM18 “.
Knowing XR, she would not so easily let go the subject.
3 seconds later, she asked her papa, “Do you have RM18?”
Hubby was trapped…”Yes, I do“.
With her cheeky grin, she quickly said, “Then you can buy for me la.”
Hahahhha….What a smooth operator!!
